CONOR: (Scattered and curious) "What? Where we goin’ like?
JOCK: (Excitement and pride) "Conor… look around ya. This is it. Dublin’s first Coffeeshop!"
CONOR: (Confused, trying to wrap his head around this) “I thought all cafés were Coffeeshops?."
JOCK: (Frustrated but smug) "No ya dope, it’s like Amsterdam, but Dublin, pure European like”
CONOR: (Gasps) "Swear ta God?
JOCK: (Smug and cheeky) "Yeah lad. No more dealing with dodgy lads in puffer jackets, this is the real deal now. You just walk in, order a cappuccino…and a side of haaaaaaashhhh.”
CONOR: (Excited whisper) "We’ve made it, boy!"
Sip of coffee, satisfied exhale.
CONOR (Conor takes a sip, slumps back in the chair)
“Next thing they'll be legalisin’ tae in pints.”
CONOR (Whispers)
“Still… it’s not Cork like.”
VO: (Smooth, playful tone) “Cinnamon; Ranelagh and Monkstown. It’s pure legal”.
