Cinnamon × The Young Offenders

Brief: Let people know that the ‘Cinnamon’ coffee shop is the first in Ireland to sell cannabis products legally.

Insight: The rebellious humor and working-class Irish wit align naturally with the chaotic and comedic potential of such a setting.

Kate Dempsey and Hannah Murphy.

CONOR: (Scattered and curious) "What? Where we goin’ like?

JOCK: (Excitement and pride) "Conor… look around ya. This is it. Dublin’s first Coffeeshop!"

CONOR: (Confused, trying to wrap his head around this) “I thought all cafés were Coffeeshops?."

JOCK: (Frustrated but smug) "No ya dope, it’s like Amsterdam, but Dublin, pure European like”

CONOR: (Gasps) "Swear ta God?

JOCK: (Smug and cheeky) "Yeah lad. No more dealing with dodgy lads in puffer jackets, this is the real deal now. You just walk in, order a cappuccino…and a side of haaaaaaashhhh.”

CONOR: (Excited whisper) "We’ve made it, boy!"

Sip of coffee, satisfied exhale.

CONOR (Conor takes a sip, slumps back in the chair)

“Next thing they'll be legalisin’ tae in pints.”

CONOR (Whispers)

“Still… it’s not Cork like.”

VO: (Smooth, playful tone) “Cinnamon; Ranelagh and Monkstown. It’s pure legal”.
